Our Faculty Members
Mrs. Hagan serves as our Kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Hagan is a former graduate of HCS, class of 2015, and is excited to come back and pour into the lives of her students.
Kindergarten
Mrs. Hannah Hagan
Kim received her Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After teaching for 32 years in Randolph and Guilford counties, she is so excited to be a part of the Hayworth Christian School family.

She and her husband Scott have been married for 28 years. God has blessed them with a wonderful daughter, Ashley, who they are very proud of. Mrs. Morgan also enjoys spending time at the beach and baking.
First Grade/Assistant Director of Elementary
Mrs. Kim Morgan
Joy graduated from John Wesley College in 2002 with a BA in Elementary Education. She has taught for 19 years and loves instilling God’s Truth into the hearts of the young students.

She is married and has one son. In her free time she enjoys reading and baking.
Second Grade
Mrs. Joy Haithcock
Nancy has a Bachelor’s in Christian Education/PE; a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Masters’ degree in Biblical Counseling, and Life Coaching and currently serves as a member of the International Association for Biblical Counselors. She has worked with students, in some capacity, since graduating college. She is passionate about helping young people grow spiritually and move into a closer relationship with their Heavenly Father.

Mrs. Kelly graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She taught grades K-12 (in public and private schools) for 30 years before taking a few years off from teaching. Fifth grade is her favorite, and she is excited to be teaching 5th grade again. She and her husband have 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family, reading, scrapbooking, and playing the piano.
Fifth Grade
Mrs. Denise Kelly
Mr. Young is a native of Lexington Park Maryland. He attended Liberty University and Lee University, majoring in Christian Education with a minor in Pastoral Studies. He has been teaching for 23 years. While in Florida, he was an active minister at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church. He used his God-given abilities in the youth department, preaching, and leading services as needed. He enjoys working with people, reading God’s word, watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is excited to be a member of the Hayworth Christian Academy family, and is looking forward to working with you and your child this school year.

Mrs. Layne received her BS in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. She taught in a public school for 10 years before taking time off to stay at home. In 2019 she started teaching Middle School here at Hayworth Christian School. She is the Children's Church Leader at Central United Methodist Church in Denton. She is also a member of the Guil-Rand Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She and her husband have two children.

Mr. Hamilton is a husband to Amanda and the father of three; Rachel, Hope, and Matthew. He has a BA in counseling, a MA in Biblical studies, and a MDiv in Apologetics. He has taught Bible and Social Studies in a Christian School in Virginia for 5 years and also served on the administration team. He was a pastor for 10 years and also served as a chaplain for the North Carolina State Troopers. He currently serves as an elder at Providence Baptist Church in Asheboro. God has given him a heart for young people and a desire to see them grow in Christ. His philosophy of teaching is found in Colossians 1:9-12. In that passage the apostle Paul’s great desire was to see people filled with knowledge and wisdom of Christ and bearing fruit for God’s glory. His desire is the same.

Mrs. Delagey has been a teacher for 15 years, including two years at a homeschool co-op.
She studied at Potchefstroom University of Higher Christian Education, South Africa. There she received a BA degree where she pursued a double major in Art History and Language with minors in Art (the mediums including: design, graphic design, drawing, painting, and sculpture), Communications, and Psychology. She continued her studies and received a diploma in Interior Decorating and Photography. Her hobbies include art, photography, gardening, and anything creative. Her life verse is Colossians 3:23.
Art
Mrs. Erika Delagey
Mrs. Kuhl graduated from UNCG with a Bachelors in Art Education. She has taught 16 years in public school and 20 in Christian schools. She taught formerly at Hayworth from 1998-2008 and is very happy to be back. She is married and has 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
Mrs. Clark is originally from Peru. She graduated from Piedmont International University in Winston Salem with a BS in Elementary Education and has been teaching Spanish for 24 years. She and her husband, Warren have two sons, Tony and Miguel. In her free time she likes to read Christian fiction and raise flowers in her garden. She's looking forward to teaching at HCS as we work together to fulfill God's plan for our lives.
